When Andrea Burke isn't teaching art to 140 middle schoolers a day, she spends her time hiking, playing with her dogs and making crafts.

Andrea tends to create things that are useful and believes that utilitarian objects can be works of art.  Lately Andrea is can't stop sewing funky potholders but has been known to make dog items, candles, and fun toys for her goddaughters.
