Weed Pull at the Black Bridge June 23, 2010
Twenty volunteers returned to the Black Bridge to take on ginormous clover and knapweed plants. This is the Milltown Gateway, on its way to becoming a welcoming area for visitor at the new state park. Chuck Erickson\'s photos.
Weed Pull at the Black Bridge June 17, 2010
Thirty enthusiastic volunteers including Girl Scouts, 4Hers, and local and area residents pulled mounds of clover, knapweed, mustards, and prickly lettuce despite soggy conditions. Their efforts will allow seeds planted last fall to revegetate the Black Bridge construction area with native plants.

On a sunny Saturday in May, 25 restoration volunteers planted 160 native trees and shrubs, including pondersoa pine, aspen, chokecherry, woods rose, golden current, and snowberry, at the Milltown Gateway, the Black Bridge over the Blackfoot River.
