Missoula County Public Schools will have a seven-year High School Building Reserve Levy for $3,150,000 ($450,000 per year for seven years) on the May 3, 2011 school elections ballot. The May 3 election will be a mail-in election (no polling places). The District encourages all parents and community members to vote.

The High School Building Reserve is a “renewal” of a building reserve that was approved by voters in May 2004. The projected cost is $8.67 per year based on a $200,000 assessed property value. With the 2004 building reserve levy expiring June 30, there is no projected increase in high school building reserve taxes from 2010 for property owners if the May 3 levy is approved.
