Weed Pull

A Gnarly group at the bridge convened

To pull and pack their enemy green.

Some laughing and joking, crawling on their knees,

With bar and back in twos and threes

They pulled clover and knapweed big as trees.

(Toadflax and Tansy came up with ease.)

At the end of the day, as they looked at the pile,

With ice cream and sodas they were all a smile:

Pictures were taken; hands were shaken.
